Sightings report image

We still have about a dozen immatures(m & f) and adult females. I wonder if some are migrants from the north? They are not as comfortable at the feeders, meaning they hover and don't perch. It seems that the ones that may be locals dominate...typical. I've been feeding them a 3:2 ratio the past couple weeks and it seems they feed more heartily. All we can hope is that it bulks them up for their journey, and they return next spring. ..will miss them for sure. Adding a great photo of one of our immature males!
