I am delighted to admit I was wrong about the hummers being gone because I had a ruby-throated hummingbird (a juvenile) at my feeders and garden flowers! This morning I saw kettles of migrating broad-winged hawks flying over Cooper, Maine and we had flocks of grackles and a "warbler wave" with many species feeding in my trees and also vireos and a juvenile yellow-bellied sapsucker.
