September 16th and 17th have been overwhelming as to the number of hummingbirds swarming my four feeders from dawn to dusk. I had to refill the feeders twice today. I will refill them tonight before they get here in the morning so they will have plenty to eat. They are all over the sky around my home. The neighbors that have never paid any attention to the hummingbirds are at my fence during the cooler times watching them and said it is the greatest air show they have ever seen. Now everybody in the neighborhood is interested in them. What a great thing to happen to these lucky people. They have just enlightened their lives by wanting to learn about these glorious little warriors. They are an endless joy to see. I am going to miss them very much when they leave but my thoughts will be of them returning.
