Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/18/2012

Number: 2

The adolescent female has been sitting on the red lantern, guarding two feeders from this vantage point. After a week or two of peace, the two females are very active today and sparring over the four feeders. Very busy birds on this cool, rainy day. Leaves falling in the wind today from the maple. I wonder if they're fueling up for the journey ahead
