Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/19/2012

Number: 100

Am on vacation in Maine sitting on Schoodic Point. Endless number of monarch heading south. Unbelievably impressive. I'm seeing 10 to 15 per minute. They come in a cluster. Then a short gap. Sometimes there are a few stragglers before next cluster. Even more impressive that they a fighting a strong breeze (from the west).
