I have not seen my resident juvenile in 2 days now (the backyard). Today at 4pm I observed one hummingbird at the feeder in the front. It appeared to be smaller with a much darker chest. The front feeder is high up on a window with good visibilty. I suspect it was a migrant stopping in for some fuel. The temperature was 53 degree, clear and calm today after late morning clearing from the past days storm of heavy winds and 2 1/4 inches of rain.
