One lone monarch left at this park in Flagstaff. Nectaring on thistle - a very fresh and new male. Three weeks ago at least eight flew over the milkweed - now all scenescing. Carpet of yellow composites blanketing the meadow to nearby mountains. Night temps now dipping to the upper 30's.
