Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/19/2012

Number: 2

Heard chattering outside this morning while getting ready for work and I walked outside to see if I could spot the little ones and one flew right in front of me and went to the Turks Caps to get his morning sip of nectar and then hoovered in front of me for a bit and then flew away. Then after work I went outside around 6:30pm and seen two hummingbirds playing chase, then later I seen one hummer going to one of my feeders and was able to get a picture of it (attached)
I'm so glad that I'm still seeing the little hummingbirds!

The little hummers can get plenty of nectar from the Turks Caps and Fire Bushes that have so many blooms on them every day and a Butterfly Bush and a couple of Sage Bushes and a Black and Blue Sage plant and a Fan Plant with lots of pink flowers.
