This seems to be the same female that I reported last week. She comes repeatedly, sips for a few minutes, then flies to a nearby tree, then goes through this cycle again. Another juvenile buzzed her briefly early in the morning on the 17th, As I write this on the 20th, we have not seen either return. We will keep a feeder up until the temperatures really drop below freezing, in case a late traveler needs to replenish.
