Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/17/2012

Number: 5

Well the monarchs (am only seeing mostly males so far) are continuing to frequent the white butterfly bushes outside the emu yard at National Zoo. (That's also where I was for my report from 9/12...forgot to mention it, sorry!) This past Monday evening I saw two of them there (with one technically being in the catmint just to the right). Earlier in the day I also saw monarchs amidst the blue mist flower and the cleome, both continuing to bloom profusely as summer draws to a close.
