I'm surprised, I still have a few hummingbirds around. I've never had more than 4 to 5 through the years. This season I had seen 4 at one time, but mainly I would see 2 to 3 birds.
Before work this morning while I was out watering I seen one fly by and then after work around 7:00 I seen 2 hummingbirds. And I got lucky again and was able to get some pics of a hummingbird at the feeder and on the butterfly bush. They really like sitting on a little twig at the top of the Butterfly Bush...just watching the area for other hummers that come to their feeders or just in their area. It got up to around 90 here in Irving,TX today. I've attached the picture that I just took of the little hummer at the feeder.
