We went to Sea Gull Beach at So Yarmouth, Ma. on Sat afternoon about 2:30pm..while there seated on the beach we noticed a number of Monarchs fluttering by along the waters edge...there was a stiff breeze from the west....so after a bit of observing we started counting and within the roughly 9o minutes we were there I counted 104 monarchs....sometimes only a single one then maybe two and sometimes three together.
As we watched the migration came into our heads...It was amazing to watch nature in this event. Now we would like to learn more about it.
