Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2012

Number: 3

We were inundated last weekend with hummingbirds as daytime temperatures dropped to 60 degrees and nighttime temps were in the 40's. The hummingbirds were feeding constantly through the rain. As soon as the storm let up, by Monday most had left, with the remainder leaving on Tuesday. We still have three resident black-chinned hummers hanging around. I'll sit tight until the next wave comes through here.
