Driving north on coastal route A1A in Florida from Ormond Beach to Jacksonville Beach, FL, hundreds of Monarchs were seen working their way down the beachline. Because it was day and they were traveling, I cannot call it a Peak migration day but certainly must be some of the 3000 recently reported. They were seen in a ratio of 1 to every 20 Gulf Fritillary Butterflies seen which are also migrating at present.
