Saw one bird, a small female, three times today. She is definitely a traveler because she retreats from the feeder if we make the slightest move inside the house, or if she sees anyone outdoors. (Our "hummingbirds in residence" are not shy like this.) Our little fellow who has been sitting on the red lantern all week, guarding his feeders, seems to have departed. We did not see him perched above the lantern today.)
