I noticed 2 Monarch Butterfly caterpillars on two out of the three milkweed plants I placed in my flower garden this year. I am very excited that the monarchs laid eggs in my garden and hope to observe them over the next few weeks. I am so glad I listened to my son and planted those milkweeds. I teach 7th grade science and will be sharing photos of the caterpillars with my class.
