Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/24/2012

Number: 3000

LOTS of monarchs were migrating into Cape May today along the beach and dunes. Some were stopping and resting on the sand. Most stayed in areas around the dunes on trees with ivy blooming to nectar. They were in deciduous trees tonight to roost. Amazing sights all day!!
