This hummingbird came through an opened, classroom door and crash landed. Thanks the quick reaction and the wildlife rehabilitation instincts of the Howell Woods staff for a happy ending. As of this writing, this lucky hummingbird is probably making its southern migration to its wintering grounds in Central America.

It was one of the 4 that was observed and reported.
