I still have 3 females feeding at my feeders. I think one of them is a new migrant since she took time checking out my front yard and the feeders before choosing one to feed at. The ones that have been here before don't seem to "check out" the area before feeding. They also usually have a favorite "flower" on the feeder where they prefer to feed--the new2bies often feed at all 4 flowers on a feeder before settling on a favorite. I do have a current immigrant who is feeding at all 4 flowers each time she feeds but she does not check out the area before feeding like the other apparent immigrants. The female who was guarding the 3 feeders that are within sight of one another has moved on.
