Such competition from these females and juveniles for the nectar! The feeding frenzy continues to dusk here in north Raleigh. I mix warm nectar each morning to add to the cold left-overs since the morning temps are very chilly for the little birds. They don't start feeding until the morning sun has warmed them enough. I am continually surprised to see these numbers each day.
