Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/25/2012

Number: 100

Still some monarchs migrating at Eastern Point. Over 100 were busily gathering nectar from New England aster in the hour I observed. I tagged about 25. When I released them, they either flew back to the flowers or generally flew off to the south. I saw a few flying high in a southerly direction.
