I observed about 600 butterflies per hour moving SW through Clearville Park from 11:30 AM until around 2:00 PM. Today is a cool day, ptly cloudy, gusty NW wind. High 59 F. Migration stopped around 2:00 PM when it clouded over and temp fell into mid 50's. Most butterflies spotted moving along the Orford Bluffs high above Lake Erie which provides shelter from NW wind. Butterflies are heading toward Rondeau Provincial Park 15 miles SW and Pt Pelee - 80 miles SW of Clearville Park.
