Adult Monarch butterflies congregated on a pair of butterfly bushes in our small garden, and were flying in groups within the condominium complex around noon on an overcast day today. There was a similar sighting yesterday. Up until this week, we've only had one or two monarchs at a time visit the butterfly bushes this summer. The bushes were planted four summers ago, and this is the first time that we've noticed the migrating Monarchs in our garden. I plan to plant milkweed next spring.
