Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/25/2012

Number: 6

We saw a larva, the monarch caterpillar. We kept it in our butterfly house, gave it a milkweed leaf everyday. Finally it turned into a chrysalid. It stayed in its chrysalis about ten days. Then it was a butterfly and we let it outside onto a butterfly bush!
We've seen a lot of monarchs flying by as we are out driving.
