Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/26/2012

Number: 5

Been feeding a lot all summer, four feeders kept fresh and full. Often see eight or so hummingbirds at once, ornery little things often appearing to always be trying to run each other off. They start before dawn and stay until dusk, or maybe most active then. Hard to count. Males are ruby throated, all others assume to be female or juvenile or ruby throated.
