At City College in the "Seeds of the City" urban farm there were at least 12 monarchs yesterday! They were fluttering around the rosemary and lavendar, as well as the other flowering plants. It was amazing!

At Cuyamaca College in east San Diego County, same day (I'm adjunct faculty, so I go between schools each day) there were even more throughout the Horticultural Department in their nursery, and in the butterfly area with verbena and other flowering plants. At least another 12 of the monarchs there.
