Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/22/2012

Number: 1

I was walking around an office building with mirrored windows looking for collision birds when I spotted a little ruby throated hummingbird lying on its back. I picked it up, thinking it was dead, but when I looked closely I could see that it was still breathing. I took it straight away over to Willowbrook Wildlife Center which was less than 3 miles away. I do not know whether it was recovered and released or not.
