I refresh the feeders with warmer nectar in the early morning, but the birds don't understand this, so they still don't approach until mid morning. The busiest time for them to feed is in the later afternoon around 4:00 to 7:00, when it has become toasty again..(high 70's and low 80's) It is hard to count, but on Thursday, 9/27 I believe we only had 2 birds here in north Raleigh.
