I did things differant this year. I do not know if I am more aware, if there are more here because I did things differant, or if there are more here due to the drought. Most likely, all of the above. Seeing five at a time in the morning, fewer during the day. Some are chubby and some are plump. In the morning they seem to want to use the feeders most, until the bees chase them away. Sometimes they get frustrated with the bees and go to eat at the blossoms. They let me watch them from the windows, but don't like me outside. They chirp a lot.
