Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/28/2012

Number: 1

Driving between our house in Maidstone and Point Pelee National Park we observed only one. Time was 17:00 until sunset. It was nectaring on what looked like Red Clover on the roadside in Leamington. We did a thorough survey on both sides of the tip of the Point to no avail. The flowers we normally see them nectaring on are in full bloom (New England Aster, Goldenrod) but where are the Monarchs? There are lots of Cabbage Whites but no Monarchs.
