My daughter and I were sitting on the beach reading in the late morning/early afternoon and butterflies were constantly flying by us heading south. I had never seen so many at once. A few rested on our books while we were reading. Typically there were 10-20 flying by and then nothing and then another group flying by. It took a couple of times to realize this could be a migration and I needed to look it up.
