Watched a very large Monarch, not sure if male or female, couldn't get close enough shot. Part of the forewing was missing. Almost an oblong circle that never developed and not torn. I was surprised that it actually was flying. It did seem a bit weak but still flew between and landed on my Ageratum several times. Going to other yards then coming back.I have also spotted several other smaller ones for about two months but didn't note the date.I have also had Many many Queens so I know the difference in those.I didn't realise you received pics..I erased mine because I couldn't get a close shot.
