I had to abandon my feeders for travel for the last two weeks. I filled all three feeders to maximum capacity and departed. I am sure that those feeders lasted for at least a week, if not more. I feared I would not see another hummer before their departure, but yesterday I had one juvenile come to dine, one that had been coming before my departure. A nice farewell for me. I don't expect to see another, but who knows? I suspect they have moved over to my neighbors feeder for the rest of the season.
