I was checking that same spot again this year for the past few days and no roost yet. I was upset as I hadn't seen as many monarchs migrating this year (did see lots yesterday,will post that as soon as I can) as I have in years past. I hope they are okay.
Since last year's roost was on Oct. 5, hopefully we will see the same thing happen later this week.
