Late, Late Monarch - Between Edmonton and Calgary (Alberta)

During the Fall Walk at the J.J. Collett Natural Area, 11 km NE of Lacombe, 52.55, 113.64, we saw a single monarch in flight. This was in an area where we had seen them before and where there is Low Milkweed on which caterpillars were observed.
