The week near the end of regular activity sugarwater consumption about 3/4 cup in 72hrs. Up close observaton at least one was coming every 10 min or so and looked long and skinny vs plump and that was on the 19th and 20th. The day of the 27th it was sunny and nice then rain in afternoon. So last nectar taken in am on 27th, last sighting at dark night before on 26th. Now the feeder just hangs there, the nectar line never moves, against a backdrop of a nearby, now an orange, red with green maple tree that is beginning to drop its leaves. Air thats filled with hardly any birds singing at dusk now, flocks can be heard every now and then. Alot of days this summer 85 - 95 deg f reduced our observation time by staying indoors. Now 7-8 months away for time to hang the feeders again,
