I had two female ruby throats in the morning but only saw one at a time that evening at my feeders. I did not see any hummers Sun or Mon and none so far today (Oct 3)(Oct 1-2) so unless I get a straggler I think that they are gone for this year, sadly. I miss them already. I still have a Monarch butterfly or two migrating through but they will all be gone soon too. The hummers left just before or after a heavy rain event here. It was cool(50 F to start and only made the low 60's for a high) the next day. I will keep my feeders up and restocked for at least a couple of weeks to help any stragglers.
