180 bulbs go into the ground for a long winter nap. The temperature was just below 50f. We planted the same location as last year, but rototilled deep to eliminate last year's bulbs. We also added manure to the soil. A partner teacher really wants to put something on top, like mulch, but I'm not sure it'll help.
