While on the playground at 11:00 AM to release a male monarch we had raised, our class observed 21 other monarchs in flight. The temperature was around 78 degrees, blue skies, and a light wind. (PS: We also just completed our Symbolic Monarch Migration packet. What a special day for this class of first graders!)
