Living in Angeles National Forest. NOTE: We have a little trouble identifying our hummingbirds. We welcome all corrections and help. We have three hummingbird feeders and see up to 20 at a time. This week we are seeing a few less because the bees have just discovered the nectar and we are having trouble keeping them away. We have Anna's, Black-Chinned and Costas. We have lots of males who tap the others on the head with their beaks to get them to leave the feeder. It's a quick tap that gets them to fly away for a minute or two before returning. We put the feeders in two different spots to make sure everyone gets some nectar.
