For the past few days we have seen 2-3 hummingbirds (females or young males). This morning it was one of each. This day was bright and beautiful with very little wind after some foggy rainy days. My husband noticed around the 15th of September their numbers decreased greatly (I was out of town for 16 days but he kept the feeders stocked). Late August and early September we had 30-50 visiting our 6 feeders. It is kind of hard to count that many buzzing birds.
