We had a mild cold front move through the area and noticed for a day or so that there were only one or two hummingbirds at the feeders. Then yesterday, with the warmer weather we saw an increase in the numbers -- at least ten (10) were in our yard zipping around from feeder to feeder. None seemed to drink for long, but several were vigilantly sitting on tree branches protecting "their" feeders -- most were female, but at least two males were in the mix. So glad they're still here!
