Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/04/2012

Number: 1

about noon one hummer arrived, flew straight to the feeder for a long tank up. Then a rest and preening while perching on the fence. Then she went browsing in the remaining flowers, totally ignored the blooming scarlet and coral coccinea and chose instead the few remaining tiny white blooms on the spikes of Thai basil Then off and away, total visit less than 5 minutes. The day was very cloudy, mid 70s and humid.
