Still have 2 females this morning. The one female that perches on a specific limb and has been guarding the feeder for about 3 weeks is still doing so but at times is moving away from the feeder more and getting nectar from plants and was allowing the other to feed more yesterday. More playing than chasing yesterday. (Maybe shes possibly looking for a traveling partner?) They are taking advantage of the butterfly bushes that are still in bloom. I've been bringing the feeder in at night and putting it out at sunrise. She is there immediately. We have a cold front coming. Nighttime temps going to be in the upper 30's with possible scattered frost. I'll continue to keep nectar warm for any traveling through.
