Several times this week a monarch butterfly has crossed my path on I-64 going east. Each time the butterflies were flying across the roadway heading south. I say a little prayer for it to get higher in the air, above car traffic and wonder is this the way that they travel? I mean single butterflies, or are these wayward ones who have gotten away from their group?
This is my first year to notice the monarchs so I will do a little more research.
