Very concerned about the Monarch's, their migration path takes them across the Blue Ridge Parkway, temps there last night were around 40 degs. Today's high on the parkway, about the same. Tonight temps will drop to below freezing on the parkway. If a monarch's thoracic (body) temperature is below 55° F, it cannot fly. Weather on the parkway will not be warm enough to fly until Wed. the temp that day will be around 62 degs....
