This past week we had our "Migration Celebration" where we took 5th and 6th graders on a field trip to see birds banded and to have them tag Monarch butterflies as part of Monarch Watch. The event took place at the Land Trust for the Little Tennessee's Tessentee Bottomland Preserve. Here is what the students found:
