Frost in town the last couple of mornings. I live out near Puget Sound so not at our place yet but definately October chilly in the am. Yesterday out pruning a tree and a couple zoomed past me. I think they were inspecting my pruning, as it's a favorite roost of theirs. This morning I heard them rustling around the same tree in the lovely pre-dawn sunrise light.
