Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/05/2012

Number: 1

Numerous monarchs flying over Reynolda Gardens and some stopping to nectar on globe amaranth, zinnias and other flowers. Tagged 3: 2 males and 1 female. Also saw a dozen or so within 10 min. the day before floating over the fairgrounds during our Dixie Classic Fair! Most monarchs I've ever noticed flying through the middle of the city during the fall migration.
