Check at 8 am. Sunny at that time but has now clouded over. Wind turned calm overnight and remains calm to light from south.

Many perched on trees in sun. Occasionally flying and flushed readily when approached. Located not just near previous roost trees, but also on many smaller trees and larger shrubs. More were already feeding on liatris. I will check in the afternoon to see if number visible has increased.

No suggestion of concentrated overnight roosts. Overnight Low 62f so this is not surprising. I had also checked just after sunset the night before and saw none at all, in roosts or otherwise.
